German amphibious transport tractor of the Second World War. The development of the LWS began in 1935, commissioned by the Army Ordnance Department for Wehrmacht engineers as an amphibious vehicle. The first 7 vehicles were produced by July 1940, the second batch of 14 vehicles was assembled by March 1941. Specifications: Load capacity 1500 kg; Track width 310 mm; Water speed up to 12.5 km/h.
