Sd Kfz 6 - a half-track artillery tractor with a pulling force of 5 tons was developed by the designers of the German firms Buessing-NAG and Daimler-Benz in the early 1930s and was intended for transporting artillery crews with attendants on the highway and off-road. The production of the new vehicle was started in 1935 and continued until 1943 at the factories of Buessing-NAG and Daimler-Benz.
