The sports version of the Lancia Delta HF 4WD road model is an icon of rally cars. The Delta HF was produced in the second half of the 1980s and competed in the World Rally Championship from 1987 to 1988, where it won two championship titles. She also took first places in numerous races such as the Monte Carlo and Sanremo rallies. A modified version of the Lancia Delta Integrale raced until 1993, where it won 5 more world titles and cemented the Italian company's championship in off-road competition. The modification affected many exterior details that made the car even more muscular. The fenders were widened and new air intakes were installed on the hood.
