IS-3 is a Soviet heavy tank of the end of World War II and the Cold War. The first prototypes of this machine were made in 1944, and the production of the machine was carried out in 1945-1946 or 1947. In such a short time, as many as 2300 machines of this type were produced! The combat weight of the tank was up to 46.5 tons. The drive was provided by one diesel engine with a power of up to 600 hp. The main armament consisted of a 122 mm D-25T cannon and 2 machine guns: 1 12.7 mm DSK rifle and 1 7.62 mm DT rifle.
