Panzerkampfwagen VIII "Maus" is a superheavy tank designed in the Third Reich from 1942 to 1945 under the leadership of Ferdinand Porsche. It is the largest tank by mass of all those ever embodied in metal (combat weight - 188.9 tons). Only two copies of the machine were built. They did not participate in hostilities. At the moment, only one Maus tank has survived in the world, assembled from parts of both copies, in the armored museum in Kubinka.
