BTR-4 "Bucephal" is an all-wheel drive eight-wheeled armored personnel carrier (APC) with an 8×8 wheel formula, developed in Ukraine by the Kharkiv Design Bureau of Mechanical Engineering (DP KMDB), manufactured at the Malyshev Plant.
BTR-4 "Bucephal" is designed to transport fighters of mechanized units and provide fire support in combat. APCs are used to equip units capable of conducting combat operations in various conditions, in particular in conditions where the enemy uses weapons of mass destruction.
