M36 Jackson or Slugger is an American tank destroyer of the Second World War. M36 entered the battle in the second half of 1944. Despite such a late deadline, he managed to become famous for the fact that he destroyed a large amount of enemy equipment, especially during the German offensive in the Ardennes. Much of the design was based on the proven M10, but a typical turret was introduced that worked in conjunction with the best 90mm M3 anti-tank gun in the American arsenal at the time
