Panzerbeobachtungswagen Panther (Pz.Beob.Wg. Panther) - a German advanced artillery observer vehicle on the chassis of the Panther tank of the Second World War. Created by the Rheinmetall company in 1942-1943 and was intended to replace vehicles of a similar purpose on the chassis of early tanks. In July-September 1943, one copy of the linear tank was converted into the Pz.Beob.Wg. Panther, but later serial production of the machine was never launched, so as not to slow down the pace of Panther production.
