The AVGP (Armoured Vehicle General Purpose, Ukrainian General Purpose Armored Vehicle), later known as the LAV I, is a series of three armored amphibious combat vehicles designed for the Canadian military in the 1970s. Vehicles named Grizzly, Cougar and Husky were created on the basis of the six-wheeled version of the Swiss Mowag Piranha I and became the first generation of light armored vehicles produced by General Motors Diesel (later General Dynamics Land Systems of Canada).
