The Super Snipe Station Wagon was introduced in October 1938, created by combining the larger Pullman's four-litre straight-six engine with the Humber Snipe chassis and body, which was normally powered by a three-litre engine. The result was a car with improved performance and a top speed of 79 mph. Continued in production as the British Military Staff Car 4x2. Several sedan variants were also produced, including an open-top Tourer, a utility (a wagon version with a "forest" body) and an armored version for members of the royal family and high-ranking government officials.
