Eitan is an armored combat vehicle (APC), designed to replace the outdated M113 armored personnel carrier in the Israel Defense Forces.
Eitan is an 8-wheeled armored vehicle, much lighter than the "Namer", weighing less than 35 tons. Equipped with the Iron Fist active protection complex. The APC develops a maximum speed of 90 km/h and can carry up to 12 people, including 3 crew members. "Eitan" is possibly equipped with a 30-40 mm cannon and an ATGM "Spike". The armor meets the STANAG 4569 Level 4 standard.
