8.8 cm FlaK 41 (German 8.8-cm-Flugabwehrkanone 41, literally 8.8-cm anti-aircraft gun model 41) is a German 88-mm anti-aircraft weapon. In 1939, a competition was announced to create a new anti-aircraft gun with improved ballistic characteristics. The first sample appeared in 1941. During the Second World War, the Flak 41 gun was produced in small quantities, was supplied to the troops in small batches, and was used as an anti-aircraft gun.
