Description
The Suzuki GSX1100S Katana made its exciting debut in 1980 at the IFMA in Cologne, Germany, and was later introduced to the public in 1981. The Katana's aggressive shape, designed by Hans Muth, is reproduced in this plastic model kit. The mechanical attitude of the DOHC 4-cylinder engine, as well as the ignition cords, brake pipes and instrument cables, which are reproduced using vinyl tubes, have been precisely captured. In addition, the kit includes metal screws that provide additional strength to parts such as wheel axles. The front and rear solid synthetic rubber tires have a tread pattern and are mounted on accurately reproduced images of Suzuki's famous die-cast star-shaped wheels to give the model an extremely realistic appearance.
