The BMW 02-series (original series 114) covers mid-size cars of the German automaker BMW, which were manufactured from 1966 to 1977. The BMW 02-series are exclusively two-door models developed on the basis of the BMW 1600 model, which was part of the "New Class".

Cars of this series were equipped with four-cylinder gasoline engines (type M10) with the designations 1502, 1600-2, 1602, 1600 ti, 1802, 2002, 2002 ti, 2002 tii and 2002 turbo, the first two digits indicating the engine capacity (except for the 1502 model, which has a 1.6-liter engine).
