Description
Submarines type XXIII - a series of German small submarines built in 1943-1945. Often referred to as "electric boats" (German: Elektroboot), these ships, together with the larger type XXI brethren, were the first in the world to be constantly underwater, thus becoming the first project of non-diving, but actually submarines.
