The Su-30 (under NATO codification — Flanker-C) is a Soviet two-seater multipurpose fighter of the 4th generation. It was developed on the basis of the Su-27UB. Designed for air superiority, long-range patrolling, escorting long-range aircraft, radar surveillance, guidance and control, and can also be used as a training and combat aircraft.
Unlike the Su-27UB, the Su-30 is able to perform combat operations associated with a long range and duration of flight and effective control of a group of fighters. On the Su-30, in-flight refueling systems, navigation systems were used, the composition of group action control equipment was expanded, and the life support system was improved.
