The Bristol F.2B, also known as the Bristol Fighter, was a British biplane of the First World War, which received recognition for its combat performance and reliability. This fighter was developed in 1916 by the Bristol Aeroplane Company and became one of the most successful British fighters of the time. The design of the Bristol F.2B included a two-seat cockpit with a pilot and gunner, which provided good protection and combat capabilities. The biplane had a distinctive two-tiered wing design and was armed with two Vickers .303-inch machine guns mounted in the nose and a Lewis gun on the upper wing, operated by a gunner in the rear cockpit. This configuration provided excellent fire coverage and made it effective against enemy aircraft.
