The M270 MLRS (M270 multiple rocket launcher system, often abbreviated as M270 MLRS) is an armored self-propelled multiple rocket launcher system.
Since 1983, NATO member states began to adopt a series of M270s, which gradually became NATO's standard weapons.
After that, the United States and European countries produced a total of about 1,300 M270 units and about 700,000 branch missiles.
In 2003, after the delivery of the last batch of M270 to the Egyptian army, the M270 was officially discontinued.
