The armament of the T-80U-M1 Bars tank is represented by a 125-mm 2A46M-4 smoothbore grenade launcher, stabilized in both planes.
Due to the increased rigidity of the gun, the firing accuracy was increased by 20 percent, while the main components and parts of the currently produced reliable 2A46M-1 gun were preserved.
The modern tank fire control system, designated 1A45, includes a laser rangefinder, a wind sensor, a tank speed indicator, a target speed indicator, a bank angle sensor, ammunition and ambient temperature indicators, and a ballistic computer.
