M706 Commando is an amphibious armored car with a 4×4 wheel formula, created by the American company Cadillac Gage. The car has a wide purpose, including: armored personnel carrier, ambulance, fire truck, tank destroyer and mortar platform. It began its service during the Vietnam War where it received the surname Duck or V. It is also in service with US allies, as well as in Lebanon and Saudi Arabia, which used the car in the first ground operation in the Persian Gulf War. Discontinued. It was replaced by the M1117 Armored Security Vehicle, which was designed as an alternative to the armored Humvee.
