The FH series was a turning point in the production of Volvo commercial vehicles. Introduced to the market in 2001, it has been available in numerous versions and variations. In particular, the Volvo FH16 can be considered the top model of the new line. Equipped with a 16-liter engine capable of producing 610 hp, it had a good power-to-economy ratio. The Volvo FH16 also uses state-of-the-art electronic solutions that can guarantee safe and comfortable driving even during long journeys. The FH-16, due to its good commercial success, became the basis for the creation of numerous "Show Trucks" with liveries characterized by high visual impact. The Viking is a good example of a show truck.
