Georges Leygues is a warship, a light cruiser of the "La Galisonière" type of the French Navy.
Georges Leygues was laid down on September 21, 1933 at the shipyard of the At.&Ch de St. Nazaire-Penhoet campaign, Saint-Nazaire (Loire-Atlantique department, France) and launched on March 24, 1936. The cruiser entered the Navy on November 15, 1937.
