North American F-86 Saber is an American jet aircraft, developed by North American Aviation in the 1940s. The prototype of the serial XP-86 was launched on the 1st of June 1947.
F-86 was adopted by the US Air Force in 1949. The first flights were transferred to the first aviation regiment of the 94th aviation squadron. The F-86 became the main American jet aircraft during the Korean War.
