Scale plastic model 1/72 Aircraft FIAT CR.42 Falco Italeri 1437
Paints and glue are not included!

The kit includes:
sprues with parts,
frame,
decals,
model painting scheme,
step-by-step instruction.

The new single-seat biplane fighter had a fixed landing gear and an open cockpit, but was equipped with some innovations, such as an all-aluminum and steel structure covered with metal and canvas. The air-cooled Fiat A.74 radial engine accelerated the Fiat C.R. 42 up to a speed of 400 km/h. It had extraordinary maneuverability, which was highly valued by pilots. Capable of outmatching Gloster Gladiators, it proved unable to match the much faster and better armed modern fighters of the Hawker Hurricane and Supermarine Spitfire. Several Fiat C.R. 42, along with Fiat G 50 fighters and BR-20 and CANT Z 1007 bombers, were also used during the Battle of Britain by the Italian Air Corps.
