The Fw200 is an all-metal, low-wing monoplane. Its design began in 1936. It was a passenger plane designed for the Lufthansa airline. Its first flight took place in July 1937. Although converted from civilian aircraft to military use as a maritime patrol bomber, the Fw200C-3/4 "Condor" saw all the battlefields of World War II. The most effective tactical combination of the Luftwaffe in the war was formed in strike operations with the help of submarines. Most aircraft were equipped with systems that could detect Allied convoys over the horizon. Currently, Fw200B and FW200C-0 are used by airlines as military transport aircraft
