Albatros D.V is a German biplane fighter. Built by Albatros Flugzeugwerke, it was used by the Luftstreitkräfte during the First World War. The latest development of the Albatros D.I family of aircraft and the last Albatros fighter to enter service. Despite their well-known shortcomings and general obsolescence, approximately 900 D.V aircraft and 1,612 D.Va aircraft were built before production ceased in April 1918. D.Va continued to be operated until the end of the war.
