The J-20 is a single-seat, twin-engine aircraft, larger and heavier than the Sukhoi T-50 and F-22. The J-20 has a triangular "canard" layout (like the J-10 in Chengdu) with two tilted all-moving vertical stabilizers (like the T-50) and smaller tilted ventral stabilizers. The stealth hull shape is similar to the F-22. The flat sides of the hull are aligned with the beveled tail sections, the wing-to-body connection is clean, and there is a sharp chin line around the forward fuselage. Cant angles are greater than the Lockheed Martin F-35 and the frameless canopy is the same as the F-22.
