The Ju 87 Stuka was one of the most famous bombers of World War II.
The dive bomber was the main ground support force for the German Air Force from the very beginning of the Blitzkrieg.
The Ju 87D is an important variant in the Stuka family, with the Ju 87D-5 being the last variant.
Additional armor was placed under the fuselage.
The guns in the wings were replaced by two 20 mm MG 151 anti-tank guns.
Ju 87D-5 first saw action in July 1943 at the Battle of Kursk.
