The IS-7 was the prototype of the Soviet heavy tank from the period shortly after World War II. The first prototypes of the tank were created in 1948, but it never entered mass production - only 6 prototypes of this tank were created. The tank was equipped with one M-50T engine with an HP 1050 power. It was armed with a 130 mm S-70 cannon, 1 14.5 mm KPVT machine gun and 2 7.62 mm SGMT machine guns.
