"Bergepantera" (German: Bergepanther), full designation: "Panther" (German: Bergepanzerwagen Panther) is a German armored repair and evacuation vehicle (BREM) of the Second World War. According to the German departmental system of designations of military equipment, the car bore the index Sd.Kfz.179. It was created in March-June 1943 on the chassis of the medium tank Pz.Kpfw.V "Panther" and was intended for the evacuation of heavy armored vehicles, such as the "Panther" itself and the "Tiger".
