ASLAV is an eight-wheeled vehicle with two front steering axles, which can operate in both four-wheel drive and eight-wheel mode.
Rear-mounted propellers provide the machine with a speed of 10 km / h in water. The turbocharged GM 6V53T diesel engine has a top speed of over 100 km/h. A range of 600 kilometers is possible. Installed front winch for self-pulling. The standard machine of the family is the ASLAV-25.
Its Delco-designed turret houses the 25mm M242 cannon, which has a selectable rate of fire from single shot to 100 and 200 rounds per minute.
