The Centauro B1 is a tank destroyer developed by Fiat and OTO Melara at the request of the Italian Army.
This machine, in its firepower, was equal to the main battle tank Leopard 1, which was then in service in Italy. Production of the B1 began in 1990, and it entered service in 1991.
