During World War II, the bulk of the German Wehrmacht's fleet consisted of trucks with a carrying capacity of 3 tons. One of the most massive was the KHD S3000 truck, which was produced since 1940 at the Klöckner-Humboldt-Deutz plant (until 1938 and after 1945 - Magirus ) in Ulm. The car was equipped with a 4-cylinder Deutz diesel engine and was driven only to the rear axle.
