Panzerkampfwagen VI Ausf. The Tiger I is undoubtedly one of the most famous tanks of World War II. It was designed to provide the Wehrmacht's armored divisions with a heavily armored and heavily armed tank to complement the more common Panzer III and Panzer IV medium tanks, which could no longer effectively counter enemy tanks. Its main armament consisted of the famous and deadly long-barreled 88 mm KwK 36 L/56 anti-tank gun. Mounted in a turret and protected by heavy 120mm armor, it could penetrate the armor of any modern enemy vehicle, even at long ranges.
