BTR-152 is an armored personnel carrier created on the basis of components and units of the ZIS-151 truck. Entered service in 1950. The armored personnel carrier had an open top-welded holding body. It was in mass production from 1950 to 1955. Production continued until 1962. It was in service with the Armed Forces of Russia until 1993. BTR-152K (1959) — a modification with an armored roof. The weight reached 9 tons, the crew was reduced to 2+13.
