BTR-152E is an anti-aircraft or assault variant, armed with a spar (ZPTU-2) or quadruple installation (ZPTU-4) of 14.5 mm KPV machine guns.
BTR-152 is an armored personnel carrier created on the basis of components and units of the ZIS-151 truck. Entered service in 1950. The armored personnel carrier had an open top-welded holding body. It was in mass production from 1950 to 1955. Production continued until 1962. It was in service with the Armed Forces of Russia until 1993.
