SdKfz 251, Sonderkraftfahrzeug 251 is a German medium half-track armored personnel carrier of the Second World War.
It was created by Hanomag in 1938 on the basis of the Sd.Kfz 11 artillery tractor and was serially produced from June 1939 to March 1945. During the Second World War, the Sd.Kfz 251, together with the light Sd.Kfz 250, was the main armored personnel carrier of Germany, and also became the basis for a whole family of vehicles for various purposes.
