German anti-tank self-propelled gun, created on the basis of light tanks FCM 36, captured in 1940 in France.
Designed by German artilleryman and military engineer Becker.
In 1942, he headed a special division for the conversion of trophy vehicles (Baukommando Becker).
The task of the unit included the installation of field guns and secondary weapons on military equipment captured from the enemy.
Thus, the mobility of artillery units increased significantly.
Baukommando Becker, together with ALKETT, converted various types of French combat vehicles, including FCM 36 tanks.
