The Eurofighter project, developed starting in the second half of the 1980s by a pool of European companies, had the objective of creating an advanced multi-role combat aircraft with a strong specialization in interception. The result of the project is the "Typhoon" which is today one of the best air superiority fighters in the world. Its aerodynamic structure is characterized by the delta wing and canard winglets. Its two turbo jet engines with afterburner guarantee excellent performance and allow it to reach Mach 2. The high on-board technology, enhanced by the fly-by-wire control system, allows for great handling in air combat.
