ASU-85 - Soviet airborne self-propelled artillery during the Cold War. It was developed on the basis of the PT-76 tank and armed with an 85 mm cannon.
The Soviet Airborne Forces used the ASU-85 in airborne operations. Its main role was to support light infantry with limited anti-tank capabilities. The ASU-85 replaced the open-top ASU-57 in service.
