T-80UD (Object 478B) is the main battle tank of the USSR, introduced in 1987. It is a modification of the T-80U with a 6TD diesel engine with a power of 1000 hp. and an anti-aircraft machine gun installation with remote control. The first versions were equipped with mounted dynamic protection "Kontakt-1", starting in 1988. T-80UDK is a commander's version of T-80UD with additional means of communication and navigation.
