The LAV-AT is an all-terrain, all-weather vehicle with night gear capabilities. It can be air transported on C-130, C-141, C-5 and CH-53 E aircraft. This vehicle provides mobile, armored, accurate and destructive indirect fire against heavy armored targets and fixed fortifications. Due to its mobility, it can keep pace with its respective military unit to provide highly mobile, protected anti-tank fire support to light infantry and reconnaissance forces, as well as provide long-range capability to engage heavy armored targets. The vehicle can be used in both defensive and offensive roles. Its main weapon station is the Emerson turret.
