AMX-30 is a second-generation French main battle tank developed by AMX. It was serially produced from 1966 to 1993. A total of about 2,800 units were produced. The main difference from MBTs of other countries of the world was weak armor protection, which ensured high mobility and small size of the tank. Currently, the tank and its various modifications are in service with some countries around the world.
