AT-T (product “401”; abbr. AT - artillery tractor, T - heavy) - heavy artillery tracked non-floating tractor with high cross-country ability.
Designed for towing wheeled, tracked and sled trailers, transporting cargo in the back and pulling out stuck cars. Widely used for the development of hard-to-reach areas of the USSR and Antarctica.
Created using elements of the T-54 tank chassis. Serial production began in 1950. Cabin elements were used from the ZIS-150/ZIL-164 truck cab, which was actually expanded.
