Plastic model of the German tank PAK 44 Waffentrager Krupp 1 in 1/35 scale, 05523.

The kit includes:
9 sprues with details,
metal stem,
photo-etched 2 pcs,
decal,
scheme for coloring the model,
step-by-step instruction.

Finished model length: 264.3 mm.

Among the huge number of self-propelled guns and carriages, the Waffentrager series occupies a special place. Toward the end of the war, it was concluded that powerful and heavy self-propelled guns, in a period of shortage of steel and fuel, would be few in number and not as effective as their lighter counterparts.
At the end of 1943, after negotiations between representatives of Krupp and WaPruef, it was decided to develop a specialized self-propelled gun with an 88-mm anti-tank gun installed on it. A similar task was given to Rheinmetall and Ardelt.
Work began to boil, but after that already in January-February it was concluded that the tank chassis available for this purpose were unsuitable.
