Colombo (D89) (eng. HMS Colombo (D89) - warship, light cruiser type "C" subclass "Carlisle" of the Royal Navy of Great Britain during the Second World War.
Colombo was laid down on 8 December 1917 at the Fairfield Shipbuilding and Engineering Company's yard in Govan. December 18, 1918 launched, and June 18, 1919 became part of the Royal Navy of Great Britain.
The light cruiser, laid down during the First World War, did not have time to participate. During the 1920s and 1930s, he served in the forces of the Chinese, East Indian Station, North American and West Indian Stations, and the Mediterranean Fleet.
