2C1 "Gvozdika" is a 122-mm self-propelled howitzer of the former Soviet Union, similar to the chassis of the PT-76 amphibious tank, but essentially developed on the basis of the MT-LB armored personnel carrier and equipped with the 2A18. The 2S1 can be equipped with amphibious capabilities with only a small amount of training, and uses a method of floating on a vehicle body and crawling. The 2S1 can choose a variety of wider tracks, making it easier to get through snow or swamp. The 2S1 has nuclear, biological, chemical and night vision capabilities.
