The Su-24M is a Soviet supersonic front-line bomber with a variable-sweep wing and a modernized version of the Su-24, designed to deliver missile and bomb strikes on ground and surface targets in all weather conditions, day and night. It is the main bomber aircraft of the Ukrainian Air Force and is capable of carrying up to 8 tons of combat load, including guided and unguided missiles, bombs, as well as heat traps to counter air defense systems.
