In 1985, the McLaren MP4/2B debuted in Formula 1 racing, equipped with a TAG Porsche engine supercharged from two compressors, capable of developing 850 hp. Confirmation of the effectiveness of the project was the victory in the world championship among constructors and the world championship among pilots, also thanks to the talent of Alain Prost. In 1986 the design was further refined with the introduction of the McLaren MP4/2C, the McLaren MP4/2 has certainly taken pride of place in the hearts of Formula 1 enthusiasts and fans, winning three Drivers' Championships and two Constructors' Championships.
