The coastal missile system BAL-E is designed to destroy surface ships, boats, landing craft on approaches to the coast, among islands, in straits and skerries from enemy electronic countermeasures using anti-ship cruise missiles. It boasts high mobility and short deployment and readiness times.
The complex is capable of firing anti-ship cruise missiles both singly and in volleys with high target destruction efficiency. The life support system allows the weapon to be used in various climatic conditions, including tropical regions.
